During the first day of your Costa Rica trip, you will:

Upon arrival in Costa Rica, you will be warmly welcomed by the Toku Travel staff at the Juan Santamaría International Airport.
After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, the staff will assist you and guide you to your transportation. You will embark on a short drive to your hotel in San José, where you will spend the night.
Once at the hotel, you can check in and settle into your accommodations. To kick off your Costa Rican adventure, a delicious dinner will be provided upon your arrival, allowing you to savor some local flavors and relax after your journey.
Enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure, perhaps exploring the hotel amenities or resting in preparation for the exciting activities planned for the following days.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, preparing you for an exciting day ahead. You will then depart for the Sarapiquí area, traveling through the beautiful landscapes of Costa Rica, passing by the Doka Estates Coffee Plantation.
Upon arrival at Doka Estate, you will enjoy an enriching coffee tour. Explore the picturesque coffee fields and learn about the various coffee plant varieties and their growth patterns. Expert guides will share insights into the geography and history of coffee cultivation in Costa Rica.
You will visit an old processing plant, recognized as an Architectural Heritage for Humanity monument in 2003. Witness the fascinating processes of de-pulping and fermenting the coffee grains, essential steps before roasting. Next, explore the roasting factory, Café Tres Generaciones, and discover the diverse types of coffee produced there. To conclude the tour, you will sample eight different Doka Estate coffee blends in the gift store.
After the coffee tour, indulge in a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch at the plantation, savoring local flavors and fresh ingredients.
Following lunch, you will visit one of the many strawberry farms in the highlands of Costa Rica. Here, you can learn about strawberry cultivation and perhaps even pick some fresh strawberries to enjoy.
Finally, you will arrive at your hotel in the Sarapiquí area for dinner.

This day is packed with adventure, and it’s recommended to wear the clothes you will use for white water rafting. Bring a change of dry clothes in your carry-on. Please wear or bring water shoes, strap sandals, Keens, or any type of footwear that stays securely on your feet while in the water. DO NOT WEAR FLIP FLOPS. After rafting, you will be hiking in the rainforest, so be sure to bring closed shoes for this part of the tour.

This adventure is suitable for everyone and offers a fun ride through the incredible biodiversity of Costa Rica.

In a charming old plantation nestled in the forest, your guide will take you on a delightful journey through the history of cocoa and its scrumptious by-products. You’ll learn everything there is to know about chocolate!
After indulging in the world of chocolate, it’s time to head to the La Fortuna Waterfall. You’ll climb down to the reserve and witness the magical waterfall surrounded by lush rainforest. Take a refreshing dip in the nearby small pond, enjoying the serene beauty of nature.

In the afternoon, embark on the Crocodile Safari Adventure!
